Daan Shaaban is Oman's leading Quantity Surveying firm who work with international standards and ethics. Oman being a potential market in the field of construction and real-estate has an immense need of QS. We are a member of RICS, which is a globally recognized standard for QS, this makes us even more special in the field. QS is not a new trend, but it involves a lot of brains and hard-work. QS is a major part of planning and construction, which needs to be precise and accountable. Daan Shaaban has vast experience in this field and has been dealing with various types of projects for Hospitals, Marine, Defence, Airport and other major sectors. We make sure our clients get what they asked for and this has been a great trust factor for us. We have a wide clientele and we are proud to be Oman's top QS firm.

Our History

Daan Shaaban Office, Grade-1 Chartered Quantity Surveying firm, manned by over 50 qualified and experienced staff in various disciplines. Founded in 1977 as a representative office in the Sultanate of Oman, the Oman regional office was wholly acquired in the first quarter of 1992 by Daan Shaaban Qattan, an Omani national and RICS (UK) accredited CharteredSurveyor.

Company Structure

DSO is a Grade 1 organization having an overall staff strength of about 50 comprising highly dedicated, qualified and competent professionals with vast experience in their chosen field. Bound to this company profile is a list of our personnel. At the helm of affairs is the founder and Principal, Al Daan Shaaban Qattan, who is a RICS (UK) accredited Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 25 years experience in Project Management, Quantity Surveying/Cost Consultancy, Arbitration & Dispute Resolution etc. Giving him able support is the Chief Quantity Surveyor who is also MRICS with more than 18 years experience in the full spectrum of Quantity Surveying field. Assisted by a core team of professionals comprising Senior Project Managers, Claims Specialists, Contract Engineer, Contract Administrator, Senior Quantity Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Civil Engineers, Architect & Town Planner, Legal Advisor, Legal Research, Admin & Accounting and HR, IT
