The Military Hospital project in Salalah is an extension and enhancement of an existing hospital building. This project involves extending the existing hospital's first floor and providing the systems required for the additional space. To get ready for the new construction, it was necessary to take some of the existing parts of the building. This included the removal of the existing waterproofing material in the roof slab and the removal of the parapet wall. Following the necessary preparatory work, a new RCC structure is built. The new extension is made up of RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) which gives the necessary strength to the structure. Electromechanical works were also included in the project. These works are crucial in delivering services for the new area of the hospital. The other portion of the project involved the upgrading of the existing low-voltage system. New works are also connected to the existing service lines of the hospital, as part of the project. These connections are placed to facilitate the new extension for services. Additionally, external services were offered as needed for the project. For the new development these works were given for assistance with the connection and support of the development to the existing hospital infrastructure.
